Commonwealth Games - Opening Ceremony!
The atmostphere was great, the fireworks weren't too bad (in comparison to Greek Olympic Closing Ceremony) and the people were fun!

There were fireworks, from offices!
No! Those things are fish, even though they behave like whales...
And more fireworks from the stadium...
And after some time, roughly one hour or so...
And all the athletes from all 71 Commonwealth countries are gathered together!

Ok, I'm not a sporty person but I just went cause first of all, it's a big event, and of course there's fireworks, and mainly because I think there won't be many chances for me to be at the place of the host of such games in my entire life. They came to KL in 1998, but I was in JB.
And I haven't forgot about boasting my university... Again, picture communicate faster... So... Here's a picture of the banner that I was amazed to see, not by the content (cause I know of that last year already) but by the size of it.
You can't see how big the banner is, but nevermind. It's at the sports oval (running track) and there's a number of it. In case you don't know what the message is, the words on top read:
"No. 1 in Australia and No.19 in the world.*"

Ok, so the question is, how did I get into such a university. Oh by the way, in that ranking list, NUS wasn't in the top20.
Back to the question, how? It's simple.
Melbourne Engineering School is not good. Haha. But if you were to say, all engineering schools are about the same, of course, with the exception of those in United States. But those universities... are like MIT, Imperial College etc. And they are constantly ranked top10 in any ranking list the world can provide. LOL. MIT is always in the top3 by the way.
I ended up not boasting a lot but nevertheless I boasted a little bit. It's 0055 now and I haven't start on my Maths A tutorial. I'm having the tutorial tomorrow.
