Ok, lame. So... morning I skipped another lecture again. I just don't seem to be able to attend the lectures of Intro to Mech Eng and Fundamentals Of Electrical Eng and the tutorial for Applied Math. Wah, quite a lot. =x
Ok anyway, I actually wanted to record a few 15secs clips using my low-quality camera phone of my Intro to Mech Eng tutor explaining a question to himself, just to show you how talking-to-himself he is. But then... I didn't dare because he still occasionally turned around to look at the class, which has one or two of us sleeping, one reading newspaper, the person beside the one reading the newspaper reading his newspaper, and all the rest blur.
Anyway point is he still turns around. And during my first attemp I think he saw me recording but then I acted as though I wasn't recording. Anyway, the main point is... maybe he's not that self-talking afterall.
After school, went to gym for a nice workout today with Gan and Bennett, and then went to SamSam's 21st birthday! Wah lao, she had 6 cakes, and many many presents.
Sometimes I wonder how come I don't recieve that many presents during my birthday... Hmmm...
And I've actually came up with some reasons, or maybe consolations.
- I'm not that good a friend for everyone to want to spend their money to buy a present on their own.
- I seemed to have everything I need. (but presents aren't usually stuffs we need, right?)
Few weeks back Crystal was having her birthday and her mother came to Melbourne, not just to celebrate her birthday (according to her). Her parents bought her a N73, which is like the phone I want la. Arghhhh.
Then I thought, wah... so sweet right. My dad won't do such things. Ok truth is he buys us things even when it's not our birthday. And the thing he buys might be way more expensive than a N73. But then to recieve a present is always better. Just bring forward (not postpone) the whole thing and give it to my during my birthday and tell me it's my present. It's good enough. Hehe.
I don't like cakes, and I don't have soooooo many presents. Not good to have a birthday party. Not a good scene.
Ok then, after that 9 of them went to a club to celebrate Malaysia's Birthday. Tsk tsk. Yesterday right, when I went down to wait for my friend at 11.30pm to give SamSam a surprise at 12am, guess what I saw?
Two malays sitting at the corridor doing tutorials. It's bad enough for the first part, the 'doing tutorials' part is even worse. Can't understand them.
Ok I wanted to take a nap just now at 11.30pm and wake up and do ARA decision making and Fundamentals of Electrical Eng Prelabs. But then...
I think I'll go to sleep now, which is like 4am, wake up at 7.30am and go to the 9am Intro to Mech Eng lecture to have a first glimpse of my new lecturer and respect him fully by keeping quiet and do my ARA decision making. WoW.
