so many birthdays! and random

i saw the list of upcoming birthdays on my facebook and was stunned. so i shared it with alvin.



and i lost. 7 vs 6. 6 friends having birthday in 3 days also can lose. lol. but one of his friends in my friend but just not in facebook. hmmm. making myself sound like this is really important to me.

it's not. this is even more important!

my father just came back (or went back, cause he went back to malaysia and not come back to melbourne) from maldives from a business trip. and my eldest sister told me papa is like thinking of bringing me and sister4 there together with him and mama!

whenever i think of maldives i think of 麦兜. haha.

back from a hiatus

oh sorry to erm, whoever was expecting a 21st bday post from me. i didnt really celebrated it, that's why i didnt blog about it. u can see the pictures of my ACTUAL birthday celebration from my facebook anyway, and that's pretty much about it.

oh now, thinking of it, there's actually quite a few things to say and maybe i can develop it into a real post. i'll think about it.

anyway, the reason why i 'paused' blogging was because internet was not stable intially. and because of that, i started to have the habit of not coming home, but instead going to my friend's house, right after school.

and don't come back until very late. and so didn't blog.

but now that the internet is ok~ (still not great), that bad habit is still in me. tried very hard to come home straight from school, was successful till some extend, but then still, i forget to login to blogger and blog.

and from next week onwards it's going to be very academically busy for me. all the assignments that was handed out long ago is finally going to be due soon, which means i should start soon too.

recently, nothing much happened. so little things happened that maybe one day i will start posting about the things that happened long ago, like the third f1 race i attended in march and maybe even my 21st birthday which is in feb.

so hmm... nothing much happened like i said. mainly people having problems. girl friends having girl friends problem, guy friends having girlfriend problems, and me having my ferrari problem.

i didn't get my ferrari on my 21st. which is in april actually (read the last line of the previous paragraph if you dont get what i mean). i didn't get an aston martin. i didn't get a porsche. i didn't get a proton. i got nothing.

i got nothing from the wonderful family that i already have. i have everything that i need from them, and this is why i always think it's hard for anyone to buy any present for me. i have everything i need! the things that i want are things that i don't need, things like, ferrari.

and ferrari, THEY AREN'T WINNING! aiyah, my loyalty will still be with them, but before they bounce back, i'm going to support sebastian vettel.

hey, it's been some time...

i feel like doing something crazy for my 21st. and when i say crazy it's not like having an extremely big party or running around naked in the uni or sleeping for 24 hours.

and since my birthday is also earth day, i feel like doing something, something like... asking for free hugs along bourke street or waiting at the cashier of a supermarket and ask people not to use plastic bags. something like that. not that i'm such an environmentalist, but just feel like doing something special.

haha. but it takes so much courage that i think the only crazy thing i might do is fly to some island and switch my handphone off for that one day.

suddenly, it seems like there's nothing to do on the internet anymore.

hope it's only today...

some say this some say that

one of the things that i like about home is the language. even though the officers at the changi airport sometimes still bring out the other side of me, but when they start talking to me with the singapore accent, i feel i that i'm back to the place where i grew up.

i have to admit that the sounds of LAs LEHs and LOs along orchard road is not very pleasant, but at least it's the language only singaporeans and malaysians understand, and use. and some more ah, it's not easy to speak like that lo i tell you.

sometimes i really think that we should stop trying to speak with other accent because what we have is unique to us too. just like how amercians have their own accent and british have their irritating-but-some-say-sexy accent. ours might sound ugly to them, but it's the same way the other way round too.

and so when i come back, my way of speaking also go back to the singapore ah beng english. cant help it. my friends speak like that, not because they are ah bengs, but because we have mandrain as our first language and the ah beng way of speaking is funnier.

just the other day, i was talking to someone on msn. we havent met since we left secondary school because she stayed in singapore while i went to melbourne. and she told me this: when you're free, text me.

'text me'? isn't it... 'sms me'?

1. i'm done with 2 papers. 3 more to!
2. i don't feel like studying for the 3 papers left
3. but luckily the two papers this week have each around 10 pages of formula sheet
4. but that means i have to learn how to apply that many formulae
5. and for the thursday paper, the 10 pages worth of formulae is only for half the subject
6. but it's still good cause at least there's formulae given
7. why did i use 'formulae' instead of 'formulas'?
8. i've been listening to jay chou's album so many times it's starting to sound like old songs already
9. oh, today is friday!
10. and i stayed was home before 12am la!
11. but serve myself right...

15. and i only got through 1.5 of stats tute sheets today
