what i did last friday...

alright, one fast post before i sleep.

last friday, i finally had dinner at a japanese resturant which i had always wanted to try but didnt because it is expensive. sze chern and samsam decided to use their vouchers last week but even after the discount, it was still about $120 in total for 4 people.

highlight of the dinner was the $100 sushi platter! sooshi eating sushi!

and then, we used another voucher at cold rock (ice cream shop at st. kilda).



drove around for quite a while and ended up at the cemetry. kenna dog's poo while trying a failed prank. came home to change shoes. sister, the one that samsam they all also know, came online. and so we webcamed with her! did a lot of stupid things, like acting out how the pets dance and shower with each other in pets society and making my sister web caming with colonel kfc. but still, i find this the stupiest: taking photo with her as if i'm putting my arms around her shoulders.



hungry again after that so had mac's for supper. u can imagine a filet-o-fish meal la. dont need picture for that!




*even though i posed for two shots, i still end up using that secret shot samsam took of me. and since my nicer photos are always taken by other people secretly, from now on i'm allowing people to take secret shots of me!
aiyah actually most of the time i know it when you all are taking photos of me la. just act blur only. just making myself feel like a celebrity when you are all secretly doing your paparazzi! if you took the effort to read this small print, from now onwards you wont have to feel bad about tou pai-ing me anymore!

jalan dinding is a good hang out place!

the meeting time and place is 9am at kranji mrt station. and so i woke up at 7am. 1 hour to get myself ready and 1 hour to pick up hann yee and arthur and get to kranji!

was supposed to meet hann yee and arthur at plaza pelangi but hann yee decided to park her car outside my house and so i met her first. then after waiting a while at plaza pelangi, arthur still hasn't reach. so we called them. and he was STILL SLEEPING.

boo!

made my way to singapore because i don't wanna wait for arthur. haha.

then who knows, THERE'S NO JAM. no jam should be a happy thing. but then i wasnt, because it meant that i'll be half an hour early. so me and hann yee went to have macdonald's breakfast!

but eeyer, it's not nice anymore, the breakfast at macs. dunno why.

anyway, after waiting here and there, driving here and there, we reached bai lao shi's house! because all we did is talk and talk and take photos and i'm not going type out everything we said, the only thing left to blog are photos!





after that, we went to mrs tong's house! actually she's never my teacher. i'm from 6E but i went to 6F for chinese class. and mrs tong is the form teacher for 6F. but since most of the people who went to bai lao shi's house is going to mrs tong's house, and all of them said it's okay to tag along, i went lo. it was the right choice. she was friendly. and even gave all of us red packets! wahahahhah.

about 3.30pm, mrs tong needed to chase us out of her house because she had to go see her idol that nite. can you figure out who her idol is? haha

and so after mrs tong's house, most of the girls went to find their bfs, and most of the guys hanged around and think of what to do. in the end we decided to go kangyu's house to wait for dinner and then sing k at partyworld! (partly also cause we told kit ying that we will be doing something after the house visits, which she couldnt make it cause she had work until 4pm. haha. jk.)

kang yu took out the photos that he took when we were still in primary school and it was really funny to see how everyone used to look like and of course, it brought back a lot of memories...

dinner was nothing special cause it's a mos burger. and yep, after dinner... we sang k!

it was very obvious that nobody wanted the day to end. but still, it had to end somehow. after that photo (and a few other photos) we just formed one circle and talked and talked and talked and talked and talked...........

and then we left liao lo. what else did u expect huh?

how my 2009 started

it's been very long since i have such a wordy post. please be mentally prepared to read stuff that might be of no interest to you but i need to write it for my own reading pleasure in future.

well, it's not the 1st of jan but it's still the first day i went out in 2009. on 2 jan, i went to singapore to meet up with seveners before penny flies back!

in the morning i met up with yongquan, john and shiqian first. they were playing badminton. even though i didn't want to join in at first, i still did. in the end i sweated so much i had to go to john's house to shower and change into yongquan's polo tee. stupid shiqian.

and for two years in a row, there was no jam at both checkpoints at the start of the new year! but (for 2 years in a row) when there's no jam at the checkpoints, THERE WAS JAM ALONG THE EXPRESSWAYS IN SINGAPORE.

how unlucky am i. TWO YEARS RUNNING! i forgot what happened last year, but this year a tree fell down cause there was a very heavy rain.

anyway, the jam occured when we were on our way to singapore poly to have our lunch. john kinda miss the food in his old school. ok la. cheap and resonable. maybe i'm just in melbourne too long. the food in sp... $2.60 seems really cheap to me.

after sp yuheng had to go to plaza singapura (ps) to meet some aunty who was going to brief him for his new job as a hamper merchandiser at carrefour. went through ERPs twice from sp to ps. then after ps, we made our way to bugis to meet up with the other seveners. and on the way there, we lost our way! and and and...

WE WENT THROUGH A LOT OF ERPs! omg. so many that i actually lost count, you know. i think the total cost of the ERPs were $6 or $7 or $8. aiyah. very expensive jiu shi le. and i don't know why also. on a friday afternoon. in town. there is also jam.

jam + many ERPs = a very 无奈的世扬.

when my friends finally managed to help me find the car park for bugis junction, IT WAS A LOADING/UNLOADING CAR PARK. had to exit and find the real car park again. luckily no more ERP.

i looked at the parking rates and calculated. my parking fees is less than the ERP charges. now i understand why people complain about the ERPs so much. and really, don't ever get lost in town when the ERP gantries are in operation. you will really get scared when you see another gantry, even when you are walking.

finally met up with the seveners. we actually met up for dinner only. but i don't know why, the meeting time was 3.30pm. after all the jams and lost of direction, we only met up at 4.30pm. then inbetween that time and dinner we went to play pool. oh well, they played pool while i slept. really tired from the jam plus i woke up at around 7am. just couldn't fall asleep after i was woken up by the noises my sister made while getting ready to leave for singapore.

deciding where to eat was another long discussion whenever yongquan is around. haha. anyway luckily we went with the original plan and went for steamboat.

bad luck once again and the fan above my table was spoilt. and the steam was constantly blowing towards me. headache. as in really headache. i got a headache while eating steamboat. must be due to the steam.

food wasn't great but as usual, what i treasure more is the company and the conversations we had.

when dinner was done, everyone didn't feel like going home after such a fun dinner i guess. in the end we decided to go to a bar along bukit timah road. for pictures, please refer to my facebook. i will only talk about one picture here.



before this picture was taken, when john was suddenly getting ready for his pose, HE KISSED ME. don't know whether accidentally or purposely. but he kissed me. i later up the challenge for a mouth to mouth but then i forgot whether he rejected or what else happened it didn't happened in the end.

after hanging out a while more and the girls taking a few more funny pictures, it was already 11.15pm and i had to go. cause before i left the house i told my mum i am going home today. and so i had 45mins to reach home in jb and fortunately the new jb custom did what it is supposed to do and there was no jam at both checkpoints again! and i reached home just before 12am.

no wonder in her blog, evelyn's caption me as cinderella.

because this post is so wordy, i think i need to get a new camera. hmmmmmmmmm

a surprising day

you know, because i just need a few sentences to remind me of good times, i'm just going to say i went into chanel for the first time today. and i really am surprised at how well evelyn, penny, yong quan and me managed to spend almost the whole day together. i thought we wouldn't last until before dinner. =)

what i've done

just feel like jotting down the things i have done since i came back.

on the day of my arrival, john and the other guys went to the airport to pick me up. at first we wanted to eat at the macdonald's at the airport. but i felt like eating some 'local', so we went to eat roti prata AND THEN MACDONALD'S cause there was this special mega big mac and mega mcspicy burger.

the next day i went to SITEX (IT fair) and bought a 8gb usb for $25. wanted to buy a 250gb external hdd initially, but realise that i dont actually need it. it was selling at $99 onli leh... but in the end i didnt buy la. there was so many people lo. see liao also dun feel like shopping. everyone was like there with a purpose.

OMG THE BABY IS CRYING SINCE HE CAME AND I DONT HAVE THE MOOD TO CONTINUE ANYMORE.
